The Glama Pajama & Pancake Party!

I had the great pleasure of doing my 2nd party for this family on Saturday. Grace, her husband, Steve, and their sweet daughter, Ella, are about the nicest people you could hope to meet. I just love working with Grace! She's fun and creative and brings great ideas to the table. For example, I had already done a "Glama Pajama Party" with the bed table. But instead of having 15 girls sleep over, she thought it'd be fun to do a pajama and pancake theme during the day and have the kids come in their PJ's! Such a great idea! So we merged the two ideas and it became one super fun Pajama's & Pancake party.

The table was much longer than how I did it in the past. I love how it looks adding an extra table. It ended up being 15 ft long! I had to take TWO pics to be able to show you the whole thing!
To set the mood, we had happy little signs up everywhere with morning-type phrases.
My fav was this awesome mirror decal Grace found. (Will find out where she got it and post later!)
Isn't that perfect?
In the kitchen, we set up a breakfast buffet.
 Pancakes: The main attraction.
Adorable "eggs and sausage" treats made by Grace.
The fixin's bar had lots of fun toppings for our pancakes.
Sprinkles-a-plenty!
One fun breakfast.
Next, it was time to get crafty. I sewed ribbon on some plain white pillow cases and gave the girls fabric markers and stencils. They turned out really cute.
In the family room we set up a large vanity for hair and make-up.
Braiding is the hottest new thing, so the girls got to choose one of nine braided looks. Jasmine - of Jazzy Style To Go - did an amazing job! They all looked so glam! Wish I had taken more pics of the hairstyles to show you!
Here are a few more misc party pics...
Milk served in my favorite milk bottles with paper straws.
Adorable " glam shoe" cupcakes by Kelly Ott of Cannon Classic Cupcakes & Cakes
Gift bags
Place setting
And last - but not least - I leave you with these gorgeous smiling faces...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ELLA!

Thank you, Grace and family for letting me be a part of your special day!

When a lovely FB friend told me she was doing a pink ombre party for her twins, I was super excited to help! Talented mom, April, did an amazing job with this party! No detail was left undone and the pinkness of it all is just PERFECT! I made the bunting (name banners), cake bunting, cupcake toppers (used on the sugar-dipped marshmallows), and the buffet cards. But the design and delicious sweets were all April's doing! Just LOVE this sweets table... and did I mention that cake? Take a closer look!
LOVE the ruffle cake!

A Beachy End-of-Summer Craft

What to do with all those pretty little treasures collected on the beach?
Make some home made jewelry! Easy and fun!  We found so many on the shores of Bethany Beach this year! We used a thin rope and shells that already had holes in them. My daughter would string one, then I'd tie a note, string another, tie a note, and so one.  Before you know it, we had a necklace and bracelet set.
Makes such a sweet bracelet!
My lil model is loving her new set! Think Momma needs one, too!
The only thing better than being at the beach with your kid? Savoring the memory together with a unique craft! Next up is hot glueing the rest of the shells to a jar or vase!

I HEART MY CUSTOMERS: Awesome Under The Sea Party!

When a friend of mine asked me to make her a few things for her daughter's Under The Sea themed birthday party, I was really excited. Wendy is a teacher, a writer, and very creative so I knew that whatever she did would be spectacular! Well, she really went all out to create this fantastic & fun party!
Pretty table display! I just LOVE all the cute buffet cards she made and all the clever sea-related food!
My favorite is the oyster and pearl cookies that this birthday girl made herself! Go Lily!
Is she a cute kid or what? And a sweetheart, too!
How adorable are these water balloon tied flip flops! Such a great idea!
My contributions to this party were the custom Under The Sea water bottle labels...
...and this hand made banner with Lily's name on it. Available in my Etsy shop, Pretti Mini! Click on any of the links to take you to the shop!

My pal, Wendy, did the rest! So much attention to detail! Great job! See Wendy's blog here for more fabulous details! And thank you so much, Wendy, for being a friend and customer!

HORSING AROUND with Easy Pony Crafts!

Horsing around at Barclay Farm! It's a wonderful place where my daughter takes riding lessons and also the home of Pony Party People! Had a wonderful time helping out at their pony camp this week. It was my job to do the arts and crafts. Had such a great time!

Here are a few of the fun things we made:

Easy horse head mask shown above. Just print a bunch of these images, color, cut out the head and eyes and hot glue to a wooden dowel and you have yourself a fun mask the kids will enjoy!

PONY LACING CARDS
I used this image and layered it over colored cardstock, then cut and punched holes in it to create lacing cards. The kids used lots of colorful yard to tie them together.
You can find the original image here.

TISSUE PAPER HORSE HEAD
Easy peasy. Print and cut out the horse head image below and glue little bits of tissue paper on it! Attach an eye and yard for hanging!

You could also color and hot glue to a long stick for a "stick horse". You can find the original image here.

MINI HORSE CORALL/RING
This was my favorite craft. The kids really enjoyed it and were so creative. I found horse images online and printed them out - 9 to a page. Cutting them all was a bit of work, but well worth it. I hot-glued a long toothpick on each. Next, I used green floral foam for the base, but any styrofoam piece would do. This is just what I had lying around. I cut popsicle sticks in half for the fence. Many of the kids colored theirs with marker before putting in the foam. We used markers to color our horses, too, and glued on feathers to make the manes and tails. Before putting the horses in their ring, we put a thin layer of glue down and added hay. Without the hay - and with a colored fence - it looks like a little carousel. Fun craft!

Last, but not least, we did horse ribbons on the last day. I had taken pics of them throughout the week. I gave each kid their photo to cut into a circle. I have a 3" hole punch that makes the flower shape and then I brought a bunch of ribbon. They could use 1,2, or 3 ribbons to tape to the back. This was daughter's sweet ribbon. We pinned them on all the kids at the end of the day. :-)

Have fun making your own sweet crafts! Would love to hear your ideas and comments below!
