Had so much fun making these sweet unicorn pumpkins with my daughter last week!
Here's what you'll need:
Pumpkins (real or the foam carve-out type)
Acrylic Paint
Holographic Paper
Ribbons
Pom Poms
Scissors
Permanent Market
Clear tape
Hot Glue Gun
Paint your pumpkin. Will need 2-3 coats. Let dry about an hour.
Cut ears out of your paper, leaving a little extra at bottom to fold up as shown.
Cut out a dome shape for cone.
Fold into a cone, but don't secure it yet.
Grab your ribbon and tie a knot in the middle.
Place knot in the middle of your dome and then wrap sides around to form cone.
Secure with a piece of tape (or hot glue) and then trim bottom so it's even across the bottom.
Next, hot glue the ears onto your pumpkin.
Place cone ever the stem of the pumpkin and secure with a little hot glue.
Next it's time for the pom poms! Put your glue on in a circular pattern directly on the pumkin and then hold pom on for a few seconds until secure.
Draw a pretty face on with your marker and your unicorn pumpkin is ready to display!
