Getting Ready For Valentine's!

I am so excited about doing my 1st fundraiser! A Sweetheart Dance for my daughter's school. As you may have noticed, I love a good theme and what is more to love than a LOVE theme itself? In preparation, I have made a zillion pom poms. (Ok, at least it seems like it!) I am really happy with my cascading pom "chandeliers" (above).

I was inspired by these cool hanging poms I saw on Pinterest. Gorgeous! Thanks, Crafty Moods! These are made of tissue paper. May try them out at a future party. I made mine out of tulle because I get more use out of them.

You'll have to wait to see the rest of the decorations after the party! But before I go, I'd like to share a craft I am going to do with the kids at the school. I work with the kids at school during After Hours and so enjoy them. Such a great bunch of kids! I'm taking in big hearts today for them to say who they love and why and then I will make a banner with them. I think that may end up being my favorite decoration of all. :-)
