Spa Party with a "Wild" Twist

Who says a spa party has to be all subdued colors and serene music? Not for these gals!  When Mom, Suzanne, asked me if I could do the party in aqua blue and zebra, I knew I was in for a fun day! And it sure was!

Here are some details...
The spa table was set up in the family's dining room. This is where we did our facials.
The family room served as the craft and lounge area as well a place for mani's and pedi's.
The girls making bath salts. As you can tell, they enjoyed it!
Manicure and pedicure stations.
The birthday girl's picture was a perfect centerpiece for the mantel!
The dining table was set up in the family's formal living room.
A few sweet party guests enjoying the day.
The sweets table included zebra cupcakes and aqua and white lolli's.
Next up were the facials. Always the highlight of the day.
Birthday girl chillin' with the cucumbers.
Some of the paper goods I made for the party. (Available at Etsy!)
And I'll end this post with my favorite shot of the day. A really great mom watching her awesome daughter blow out the birthday candle. That's the stuff of life, my friends. That's the stuff.

The Tutti Frutti Spa Party!

SO. MUCH. FUN! Such a great time with a really good group of girls...and moms, too! It all started with a towel. The 1st time I saw it I knew I had to make a spa wrap out of it and make this a new party theme. The pink and purple polka dots were irresistible and before you know it, I cleaned out the stock at my local store. Six months later I got to see my Tutti Frutti Spa Party come to life. A super fun birthday party for a very sweet 8 year old and her friends!
As guests arrived, they were welcomed and ushered over to the "Spa Dressing Room". Spa wraps and gift buckets were given out. They changed into their wraps and kicked off their shoes. Next they were invited over to 1 of 3 fun stations:
The Nail Station

 The Pedicure Station

and

The Craft Station

The girls had a great time decorating their flip flops.
Pedi's were also a hit!

We had some outrageously CUTE cookies and cupcakes from my favorite local baker, Kelly Anne at Cannon Classic Cakes.
(Kelly, you really outdid yourself on this one! AMAZING!)
The mom and I actually gasped when we saw these!
The sweets table. The mom was super creative and had lots of great ideas to add to the party. I love the licorice and pink m&m's in fancy martini glasses! Too cute!
This one was my creation. Fruit kabobs on home made flower kabob sticks. (Coming to my Etsy shop soon!)
Gorgeous birthday girl poses with her pink cucumber cookie.
Love this shot. And lol, these girls were far too excited to relax!
Lunch time! The dining table was set in the family's gorgeous living room.
A shot taken the night before the party. Could this room be any more beautiful? The perfect setting for the dining table!
Of course, I HAD to make polka dot place cards! I just LOVE these cute chair place card holders the mom had. ADORABLE! Must get a set of these!
Ella's place card was held in a fancy silver shoe. Too cute!
Sweet guest enjoying a flip flop sandwich
Next up were facials!
Such a beauty! With a sweet personality to match, too!
Love the thumbs up!

Here are a few more misc shots of the day...

Love how the centerpieces turned out! Another great idea from super mom. She asked me to make the mini pom poms on a stick and special ordered pink and purple gumballs. Brilliant! Going to use this idea for many of my parties, now and sell the pom pom sticks on Etsy. Thanks, Grace! (LOL, my daughter calls these my truffula trees - as in the ones on the Lorax. Too cute!)
Yep, that's me...serving up some sweet treats! Such a great day! Did I mention I LOVE what I do? Just look at these great girls:
This was a super family to work with and super mom, Grace, lent so much of her own party planning talent to the party. Big thanks to Grace, Steve, and Ella for letting me be a part of your special day!

Emma's Enchanted Spa Party

What a beautiful day it was! The room my client chose for her daughter's party was just perfect. A blank canvas with big windows, allowing the sun light in. My lilac tree was in full bloom, so I cut a bunch that morning and brought with me. The room SMELLED like a spa. I was so happy.
I make a custom welcome sign for each party and custom water bottle labels on request.
  Hand made personalized birthday banner/bunting.
Tulle pom poms are my favorite way to dress up a room.
Spa towel wraps hung in the entry way. Each girl was given one to change into as she arrived.
I worked on them for a month so it was so exciting for me to see them all hanging there...ready to be worn! The girls loved them...especially when they realized they were a take home gift also!
The craft table was next. Each girl could decorate her own flip flops with ribbon, gems, & fabric strips.
I love how creative they were!
Next up was the pedicure station.
   Followed by mani's!
Sweet girls waiting for their nails to dry.
                                                                              The main event... FACIALS!!!
Beautiful birthday girl, Emma, ready for her facial. Each girl got a goodie bag that included a hair wrap and mini mani/pedi kits to take with them to each station and then take home.
Face masks and cucumbers produced a lot of smiles!
                                                                                         So much fun!
Girls and moms dined on flip flop and spa mask sandwiches, along with fruit, veggies, & a few of my signature sweets.
My signature flavored popcorn and adorable spa cookies from A Cookie Jar.
                                                                                 The sweets table.
My home made marshmallows and buffet cards.
Marshmallow pops
Purple lemonade with sweet retro straws by The Sugar Diva.
A beautiful and fun day with a great group of girls!
